When was the last time you had your fuel pumps inspected or had regular maintenance on them?  
Fuel pumps are just as susceptible to failure as most modern technology is. 
 
If you suspect that your fuel pump isn't functioning correctly you can easily identify the problem by looking to see if your fuel pump is suffering from some of the following symptoms. 
 
Low fuel pressure – there could be several reasons for this... 
No fuel flow at all - this could be "just" an air lock? 
Leaking fuel – This is could be a major problem and needs to be sorted as soon as possible. 
Injector Faults, misfires etc... sometimes these can be repaired, but usually they need to be replaced.
